The first images of Manchester United’s 3rd jersey for the 2020/21 campaign have emerged online this evening, with the unusual design no doubt set to split opinion amongst fans.

Reds switch things up

United’s first and 2nd kits for the fast-approaching new season have of course long been in the public eye.

The first features something of a twist on the club’s classic bold red, with dashes of black and yellow spread across the shirt’s entirety.

The away kit set to be donned by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men is of a more sleek influence, with a dark, patterned grey having replaced the pitch black of the 2019/20 campaign.

Zebra vibes

Adidas’ decision to stray away from the traditional Red Devils’ looks have inevitably resulted in debate amongst fans, with some happy to avail of a fresh new design, whereas others enjoy a more clean, old-school fit.

As such, one thing appears certain – those who fit into the latter of these categories are unlikely to be too fond of the 3rd kit set to be on display at Old Trafford in 2020/21.

As outlined above, the first photos of Manchester United’s latest alternate jersey have this evening made their way online, courtesy of the always reliable Footy Headlines.

And the look, to put it lightly, is quite a striking one.

As showcased below, Adidas have opted for a black and white striped design, albeit with a major twist:
